From one generation of keen cooks to another, it wasn’t until Justine was hunting around for a way to get off ACC for a bad back that she made a discovery.
On visiting her father in law and having purloined some of his grapes, she discovered they were very sour and totally inedible.
With her Dutch Jewish Scottish ancestry there was no way Justine was going to throw the sour grapes out. So she set too and made grape jelly, which is all very well if you like grape jelly but she discovered that endless pots of grape jelly can become very boring.
After much thought and experimenting Grape Chilli Cha Cha was born. From small beginnings and a creativity that had lain dormant for many years grew a magnificent collection of truly innovative gourmet delights.
